Pork Milanese
(shown here half-eaten, please disregard)According to the menu:"Pan-seared pork scaloppini crusted with Italian herb breadcrumbs, served with asiago cheese-filled tortelloni pasta tossed in a garlic-butter sauce with fresh spinach."
My impressions:The pork needed something...the Italian breadcrumbs it was cooked in lent a bit of flavor, but very subtle flavor. I squeezed juice from the included lemon wedges, and that seemed to do the trick.
The pasta was good, as was the garlic-butter sauce, but the cheese filling had a sort of processed quality to it. I can't really explain it any better than that. I worked around the spinach, of course.
At $14.95, including soup or salad and breadsticks, I'd order it again. This may, in fact, be my new usual at OG.
